  1. Lagos State University (LASU)




 

LASU was founded in 1983. The school has four campuses located at Ojo which houses the main campus and Ikeja, Epe and Surulere. The institution has 9 faculties namely Faculty of Engineering, Social Sciences, School of Basic Medical Sciences, Education, Business Administration, School of Clinical Sciences, Law and Arts. LASU has a student population of over 61,000 students.

 


  1. Rivers State University of Technology (RSUST)




 

RSUST was founded in 1980. It currently has a student population of more than 20,000 students with over 4,000 staffs. The institution is the first technological university in Nigeria. RSUST has 7 faculties namely Faculty of Law, Agriculture, Technical and Science Education, Medicine, Science, and Engineering.

 


  1. Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma (AAU)




 

The institution is located in Edo State and was established in 1981. The university was formerly known as Bendel State University before it was renamed to honour Professor Ambrose Alli. The university has 8 colleges namely Medical Science, Legal Studies, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Engineering and Technology, Education, Natural Science, Arts and Social Sciences. 

 


  1. Delta State University Abraka (DELSU)




 

Located in Abraka Delta State, DELSU was established in the year 1992. The university has 3 campuses with a student capacity of 36,000. DELSU has 11 faculties namely Faculty of Agriculture, Arts, Science, Law, Education, Engineering Management Studies, Pharmacy, Environmental Studies, and Basic Medical Sciences.

 


  1. Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT)




 

ESUT was founded in the year 1980 and was formerly known as Anambra State University of Science and Technology. It was later renamed ESUT following the creation of Enugu State from Anambra State. The University has a student population of over 25,000.

 

 

 


  1. Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU)




 

Established in the year 1982, Olabisi Onabanjo University was formerly known as Ogun State University and was later renamed in 2001. The institution has 9 faculties namely Faculty of Engineering, Arts, Environmental Science, Basic Medical Sciences, Law, Social and Management Sciences, and the College of Medicine. The university has a number of campuses and the main campus is located at Ago Iwoye.

 


  1. Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH)




 

LAUTECH was established in 1990 and is located in Ogbomosho, Oyo State. The University has a student population of over 25,000 with a staff strength of over 4,000.

 


  1. Niger Delta University (NDU)




 

The Niger Delta University is located in Wilberforce Island Bayelsa State and was established in the year 2000. The university has 9 faculties namely Faculty of Law, Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Education, Agriculture, Engineering, and the Faculty of Arts. The institution has 2 campuses located in Amassoma and Yenagoa.

BSU was established in the year 1992. Faculties in the institution include Law, Art, Education, Health Sciences, Management Science, Science and Environmental Science. Benue State University has a student population of over 32,000 with staff strength of over 4,000.
