Beverly Naya is a British born Nigeria Actress.  She was born on the 17th of April 1989 in London and her full names are Beverly Ifunaya Bassey. She began her acting career at an early age and has since risen to become one of the top female actresses in the country.  The actress is the only child of her parents which made get all the love and attention from both parents no wonder he mum also happens to be her manager which goes to show that her parents are in full support of her acting career. 

She bagged a degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Philosophy from Brunel University. She also attended Roehampton University London where she studied Script Writing and Film Making. She began acting in London when she featured in short film for the Metropolitan Police and the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). Her quests for acting made her feature in theatre productions in the UK such as “Stoning Mary”, “Crave, and “Psychosis”.

After her sojourn in the UK, she decided to relocate back to Nigeria with her mum who she shares a strong bond with. She revealed that her mother is her mentor and will go to any length to see that she is satisfied and happy. Although she said that she doesn’t get to spend a lot of time with her dad due to his working schedule but they communicate as often as they can.

On getting to Nigeria she ventured into the Nollywood industry and when asked by Encomium Magazine in an interview the reasons for coming to Nigeria, the actress replied that after graduating from the University all she wanted was to Act and living in London didn’t offer her the kind of exposure to showcase her talents which made her opt to come and contribute her quota to the growth of Nollywood. She also claims that she intended to build a brand by acting and writing movie scripts.
