Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, popularly known as (Dammy Krane), is a Nigeria singer, composer and performer born on 10th December 1993.to an Oluwakemi Osodi who was a manager in the fuji music industry at the time. Dammy cites this as an early influence in his career. At the age of 6 he started singing in his Church’s Children’s Choir. Dammy later Joined the Toddler,s Choir in Church when he was only eight.he was born in a Polygamous Family, his motheris living in United State working as an event Manager. As the only Child of his Mom, he grew up with his grandmother.
Dammy received his Elementary and Secondary School Education in Lagos, Nigeria. He is well known for being an amazing dancer and performer. After graduating, Dammy Krane concentrated on his music and worked hard at his craft, eventually establishing himself as an act to watch.

He later went to study Microbiology at Redeemers University but drop out because the school didn’t support Entertainment.
In January 2012, at age 20, he signed a record deal with Hypertek Digital and 960 Music Group. He credits his signing to Hypertek Records to a chance meeting with 2face Idibia at a birthday party. He says 2face Idibia had seen him perform and made the decision to sign him.
He is most famous for his single hit "My Dear" which brought him to lime light in 2012. Dammy is known for his melodic voice, engaging lyrics and his exciting genre of African alternative music. Dammy Krane has received several nominations, including the” Next Rated” nomination. and won the "2012 Rookie of the Year" at The Headies. In 2014 he released his debut Album which features one of his most loved songs ever "Amin". the single was widely accepted in the late 2014/2015.

On Friday 2 June 2017, the Nigerian news circuit was set ablaze with surprising news that Dammy had been arrested in the US for grand theft, credit card fraud and identity fraud. In the days that followed more details revealed that he had used a stolen credit card to book a private jet from the company Tap Jets while on holiday in Miami. The company had detected the artist's fraud due to discrepancies in the credit card information he had provided.
He was reportedly released from jail in Miami after meeting his bail conditions, set at $7,500. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and demanded a trial by jury. The singer was assigned an attorney and was billed to appear in court on June 23, 2017. It was recently reported that all charges has been dropped.
