David Adedeji Adeleke Popularly Known as (DAVIDO) is an American born Nigeria recording artist, performer and record producer, born on 21 November 1992 to Chief Deji and Vero Adeleke in Atlanta, Georgia USA. His father is a Nigerian business Man while his late mother was a university lecturer.
He received his secondary education at the British international school in Lagos; Nigeria. He then studied business administration at Oakwood University Alabama, USA. The superstar dropped out of school when he started getting bad grades and relocated to London.
Davido's interest in music started during his time at Oakwood University, he bought musical equipment and started making beats,after relocation to London he channels his focus more towards vocals as opposed to production.
In 2011 the superstar returned to Nigeria and decided to enrol at Babcock university where he studied music, in July 2015, Davido graduated with a bachelor degree in music.

Davido first single Title "Back when" Ft Naeto C, the single received frequent airplay. On October 2011 the superstar went ahead to drop the hit "Dami duro" with Shizzi the video was directed by Clearance peters.
To further promote the album in 2012 Davido released music videos for "Ekuro", "Gbon Gbon", and "Feel Aright".
In 2013 the superstar began recording his second studio album, he released "Gobe", "Aye", "One of a Kind", "Skelewu" which gave him numerous Awards the Skelewu was ranked 5th on the aforementioned list of the top 10 songs of 2013.
Between 2013 and 2015, Davido released the single Gobe, One of a Kind, Skelewu, Aye, Tchelete (Good life), Naughty, Owo Ni koko, The sound and The money. The singles were reportedly intended to be singles off the album.
He signed a record deal with Sony music on January 2016.Later in the year he started his own record label (DMW) few months after signing with Sony. Mayorkun and dremo are currently signed to the label.
ENDORSEMENT
Davido signed a 30 million Naira endorsement deal with MTN on April 2012.
On October 24th 2013 Davido signed a multi -million Naira Endorsement deal with Guinness Nigeria, he performed at the Guinness World of More concert alongside Psquare, Dbanj, Wizkid,Ice Prince,Burna Boy, Olamide, Phyno, Chidimma, Waje and Tiwa Savage.
